The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for nightly lane restrictions in the eastbound lanes along Interstate 10 between Riggs Road and the Gila River bridges March 27-31. Allow extra travel time and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
- Eastbound narrowed to one lane overnight between Riggs Road and the Gila River Bridge (near SR 587) from 9 p.m.- 5 a.m. Monday through the morning of Friday March 31 (March 27-31) for pavement improvement project.
The restrictions are part of the I-10 Pavement Improvement Project: Riggs Road to the Gila River Bridges. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and driving conditions on the existing roadway and extend the life of the pavement.
