The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the closure of Watson Road under the Interstate 10 bridge, beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, March 20. It is expected to last into April. The closure is part of the third phase of work to reconstruct the interchange into a Diverging Diamond Interchange.

DETOURS
- Drivers wanting to access southbound Watson Road should use westbound I-10 to Miller Road, then use eastbound I-10 and exit onto southbound Watson Road.
- Drivers wanting to access northbound Watson Road should use eastbound I-10 to Verrado Way, then use westbound I-10 and exit onto northbound Watson Road.
Please allow extra travel time and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through work zones.
