I-17 lane restrictions and ramp closures planned in areas between Dunlap Avenue and Loop 101 March 5 - 10

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restrictions along Interstate 17 in Phoenix for pavement work:

  • Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between Dunlap and Peoria avenues from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 5.
  • Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Greenway Road and Loop 101 from 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, March 8.
  • Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Cactus Road and Dunlap Avenue nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, through the morning of Thursday, March 9.
  • Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Bell Road and Yorkshire Drive from 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, to 5 a.m. Thursday, March 9.
  • Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Union Hills and Yorkshire drives from 9 p.m. Thursday, March 9, to 5 a.m. Friday, March 10.

The following ramps will be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 8:

  • The southbound I-17 on-ramps at Cactus Road and Peoria Avenue
  • The southbound I-17 off-ramp at Peoria Avenue

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
