Plan for an eastbound I-10 frontage road closure between Walker and Orange Grove roads in Tucson beginning March 13

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for an eastbound Interstate 10 frontage road closure between Walker and Orange Grove roads in Tucson Monday, March 13, as work progresses on the I-10 Ina to Ruthrauff improvement project. 

The closure will remain in effect until the end of 2024. 

Motorists can expect:. 

• West of Walker Road: the eastbound frontage road will be converted to two-way traffic between the area just east of Walker Road and the Ina Road on-ramp to eastbound I-10 beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, March, 13. 
• Business access and access to and from Walker Road will be maintained.
• Access to Ted Walker Park will be restricted from the frontage road.

Motorists should plan for delays, proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
