The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure on US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Mesa for pavement rehabilitation beginning Friday, March 3.

Updated: Westbound US 60 between Stapley Drive and Loop 101 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, March 3, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 6.
- The westbound US 60 on-ramps at Gilbert Road and Val Vista Drive also will be closed.
Nightly lane restrictions March 1 & 2:

Eastbound US 60 between Loop 101 and Stapley Drive will have nightly lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, March 1, through the morning of Friday, March 3.
Detours: Drivers can consider using Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US 60 and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US 60.

Westbound US 60 between Alma School Road and McClintock Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, March 10, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 13
- The north- and southbound Loop 101 ramps to westbound US 60, as well as the US 60 ramps to northbound Loop 101 will be closed.

Eastbound US 60 between Country Club and Val Vista drives will have nightly lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, March 8, through the morning of Friday, March 10.
The pavement improvement work along 14 miles of US 60 will occur over several months and will require numerous closures. We will continue to provide updates as the work progresses. ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway
