Reminder: ADOT seeking input on Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) test striping

Monday, Jan. 16 is the last day to take the survey

The Arizona Department of Transportation is testing a new striping technique on a section of the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) between Pima Road and State Route 51 (SR 51) to assess how well drivers see the pavement markings, compared to the adjacent SR 51 to I-17 section. 

Drivers can provide input on the test striping by taking a short survey through Monday, Jan. 16.

The test striping uses an alternating white and black stripe for higher contrast on the light concrete pavement, particularly during the morning and evening hours when the sun is low in the sky and visibility is less than bright daylight.
