Lane restriction on US 89 north of Flagstaff Dec. 20-22

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Flagstaff area drivers to plan for a northbound lane restriction on US 89 from Tuesday, Dec. 20, through Thursday, Dec. 22.  

Drivers should allow for extra travel time while the following daytime restriction is in place from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:

• Northbound US 89 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane between mileposts 442 - 444.
• The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

The restriction is needed so crews can safely complete pavement repairs along this stretch of US 89.
