UPDATE: Southbound I-17 closed from Loop 101 to Greenway Road Nov. 11-14

This advisory corrects the end date to Monday, Nov. 14.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for southbound I-17 to be closed between Loop 101 and Greenway Road from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, for pavement work. The following ramps also will be closed:

• Both Loop 101 ramps to southbound I-17.
• The southbound I-17 on-ramps at Pinnacle Peak and Deer Valley roads and Rose Garden Lane.

DETOUR: Motorists may consider exiting ahead of the closure and using 19th or 35th avenues before connecting with I-17 beyond the closure. Drivers also can consider using southbound SR 51 as an alternate freeway route.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
