Hello from ADOT. In case you missed it Thursday afternoon, here is our Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Oct. 28-31) for Phoenix-area freeways. One additional quick update: The westbound Loop 303 closure between I-17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. tonight (Friday night). Find it and more information about closures for freeway improvement projects by clicking the Weekend Travel Advisory Map. Extra travel time and checking for alternate routes is recommended while closures are in place, including the following:
- Eastbound I-10 closed between SR 51 and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in the area near Sky Harbor Airport from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Oct. 31)
- Northbound I-17 closed between Northern Avenue and Thunderbird Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Oct. 31)
- Westbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between Pima Road/Princess Drive and SR 51 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Oct. 31). Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information. Be a safe driver. Never drive while impaired. Remember, stay alert for "trick or treaters" if you're behind the wheel on Halloween night.
