Westbound Loop 303 closure between I-17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway set for this weekend, Oct. 21-24

Westbound Loop 303 closure between I-17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway set for this weekend, Oct. 21-24

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that westbound Loop 303, from I-17 to Lake Pleasant Parkway, will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, for new traffic interchange construction. 

I-17 off-ramp connections to westbound Loop 303 will also be closed during the weekends. 

However, access to Sonoran Desert Drive (east of I-17) will remain open to and from I-17.

Westbound Loop 303, between I-17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway, also is scheduled to be closed on the following three weekends. 

  • Friday, Oct. 28, to Monday, Oct. 31
  • Friday, Nov. 4, to Monday, Nov. 7
  • Friday, Nov. 11, to Monday, Nov. 14

Start and stop times will be shared once they are confirmed.

Detour: Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes including westbound State Route 74 to southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway to connect to westbound Loop 303 beyond the closure.
