Expect overnight lane restrictions on Interstate 17 between Bumble Bee and Dugas Road for guardrail repairs Oct. 11-14

Drivers should allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions and possible delays on Interstate 17 between Bumble Bee and Dugas Road in Mayer for guardrail repairs Oct. 11 - 14.

Drivers should be prepared to slow down in the work zone while the following overnight restrictions are in place:

  • 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12: Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane along a 2-mile section of roadway near Bumble Bee (mileposts 246-248).
  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, to 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13: Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane along a 4-mile section of roadway from the junction of State Route 169 to Dugas Road (mileposts 274-278).
  • 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, to 1 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14: Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane along a 4-mile section of roadway near Bloody Basin Road (mileposts 258-262).
  • 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, to 1 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15: Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane along a 3-mile section of roadway between Badger Springs Road and Bloody Basin Road (mileposts 257-260).
