Lane restrictions on US 95 in Yuma scheduled Oct. 8

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on US 95 in Yuma on Saturday, Oct. 8. 

Contractors are scheduled to conduct utility work that will require an aerial crossing at milepost 35.

To protect the safety of the workers and the public, US 95 will close in both directions from 7 a.m. to approximately 7:30 a.m.

Motorists should plan for the following:

• A 30-minute road closure in both directions during the utility work crossing.
• Public safety personnel on site to direct traffic.

ADOT reminds motorists to plan for delays, proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
