Westbound Interstate 10 closed overnight between 7th and 27th avenues Thursday, Oct. 6

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the closure of westbound I-10 between 7th and 27th avenues in Phoenix from 10 p.m Thursday, Oct. 6, to 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, for maintenance work. 

• The westbound I-10 on-ramps at 16th and 7th streets will also be closed.
• DETOUR: Drivers can exit ahead of the closure and use McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to 27th Avenue to access westbound I-10. 

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around maintenance personnel and equipment while work is underway.
