As work continues on the Interstate 10 Improvement Project between State Route 85 and Verrado Way in Buckeye, the Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restrictions:

The westbound I-10 off-ramp at Watson Road will be closed from 11 p.m. Thursday Aug. 25 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26. In addition, southbound Watson Road will be closed underneath the I-10 bridge. This closure will allow crews to continue work on the bridge structure.

Detour: Drivers should consider using Miller Road or Verrado Way exits.

Drivers should allow extra travel time and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
