How Are We Doing Notifying You? Take Our Survey
ADOT places a high priority on keeping its customers informed of construction-related activities, restrictions and closures so they can plan their travels. Please take a short survey to tell us how we are doing. Your feedback will help us improve our efforts to keep customers informed.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following travel restriction on State Route 73 between Black Canyon and the junction with SR 260 (mileposts 350 - 358) beginning Monday, Aug. 15:
- North- and southbound SR 73 will be reduced to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct traffic through the work zone.
- The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
- Drivers should be prepared to stop when approaching the work zone.
Additional closures and restrictions may be announced in the coming weeks as construction begins on the 8-mile pavement project, which is scheduled to be completed this fall.
