The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists that Ironwood Drive will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at State Route 24 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 9. The lane restrictions are needed for traffic-signal work ahead of the planned opening of the new SR 24 expressway extension between Williams Field Road and Ironwood Drive. The roadway’s opening is expected by mid-August.

ADOT urges drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
