The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use Interstate 17 in the area of Greenway Road to plan for ramp closures beginning 9 p.m. Friday, May 20, for electrical work. ADOT urges drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the following restrictions are in place:
- East- and westbound Greenway Road will be closed between 25th and 29th avenues from 9 p.m. Friday, May 20, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 23. The north- and southbound I-17 on- and off-ramps and frontage roads at Greenway Road also will be closed.

Detour: Drivers can use 35th or 19th avenues to Cactus or Bell roads to access north- and southbound I-17.
- For access to Tuscany Pointe Apartments, a portion of the frontage road will remain open. Drivers may travel both north- and southbound from Country Gables Drive to the complex. Motorists may also travel southbound to Thunderbird Road.
Reminder: The southbound I-17 frontage road between Thunderbird and Cactus roads, as well as the on-ramp at Thunderbird Road will remain closed through late 2022.

The closures are needed to install a new storm drain along the frontage road and connect it to the Arizona Canal Diversion Channel north of Dunlap Avenue.
