The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the following closures of east- and westbound US 60 between Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) and Goldfield Road in Mesa/Apache Junction, for pavement maintenance.
May 13-15
- Westbound US 60 between Ironwood Drive and Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 13, to 7 a.m. Saturday, May 14.
- Detour: Drivers can use Baseline Road and Apache Trail/Main Street as alternatives.
- Eastbound US 60 will be closed between Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) and Meridian Road from 10 p.m. Saturday, May 14, to 7 a.m. Sunday, May 15.
- Detour: Drivers can use Baseline Road or Apache Trail/Main Street to use the eastbound US 60 on-ramp at Ironwood Drive.

May 20-22
- Westbound US 60 between Old West Highway and Ironwood Drive will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 20, to 7 a.m. Saturday, May 21.
- Detour: Drivers can use Baseline Road and Apache Trail/Main Street to use the westbound US 60 on-ramp at Ironwood Drive.
- Eastbound US 60 will be closed between Meridian Road and Goldfield Road from 10 p.m. Saturday, May 21, to 7 a.m. Sunday, May 22.
- Detour: Drivers can use Baseline Road or Apache Trail/Main Street to use the eastbound US 60 on-ramp at Goldfield Road.
Closure times may be extended due to unforeseen circumstances.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
