Lane restrictions on Interstate 10 in Tonopah beginning May 16

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for a 24-hour lane restriction on Interstate 10 in Tonopah beginning Monday, May 16, at 4 a.m. 

Maintenance crews are scheduled to repair bridge deck joints.

The following restrictions will occur beginning at 4 a.m. on Monday, May 16, and ending at 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 19.

  • Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between mileposts 104 and 105. 
  • A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. 
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph. 

Drivers should obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
