Drivers who use the Interstate 10 westbound on-ramp and eastbound off-ramp at Miller Road in Buckeye will need to use detour routes for several weeks starting Friday, March 18, while construction of new ramps at the Miller Road traffic interchange is underway.
The following ramp closures will be in place beginning 10 p.m. Friday, March 18 and continuing through April as part of the Arizona Department of Transportation's I-10 Improvement Project between Verrado Way and State Route 85:

The westbound I-10 on-ramp at Miller Road will be closed.

Detour: Drivers should take the Miller Road eastbound ramp to I-10, exit at Watson Road, then head back westbound on I-10.

The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Miller Road will be closed.

Detour: Drivers can continue on I-10 to the Watson Road exit, then head back westbound on I-10 to exit at Miller Road.
ADOT's I-10 Improvement Project will add a third lane in both directions between Verrado Way and SR 85 and also reconstruct the freeway interchanges at Watson and Miller roads. The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2023. Drivers should allow extra travel time and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
