Intermittent closures along Interstate 10 between Seventh Avenue and 16th Street scheduled for March 6

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for intermittent closures lasting up to 15 minutes on east- and westbound Interstate 10 between Seventh Avenue and 16th Street in Phoenix from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 6, for overhead power line installation. The following ramps will also be closed:

• The westbound Loop 202 HOV ramp to I-10 beginning at 32nd Street
• The southbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound I-10
• The eastbound I-10 on-ramps at Third and Seventh streets
• The westbound I-10 on-ramp at 16th Street
• The westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at 24th Street

Drivers should expect slowing and stopped traffic during the overnight restrictions. Stay alert and be prepared for delays. Watch for workers and equipment in all work zones.
