Daytime lane closures on State Route 89A south of Jerome continue Feb. 7 - 10

Drivers should plan for up to 30-minute delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for continued daytime lane closures on State Route 89A south of Jerome while vegetation removal is underway.  The closures are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, through Thursday, Feb. 10.

Motorist should expect delays up to 30 minutes while the following restrictions are in place:

  • SR 89A will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between mileposts 333 - 339.
  • Flaggers and a pilot car will guide drivers through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and be prepared to stop in the work zone while the vegetation removal work is underway.
