Eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closure planned from McQueen to Gilbert roads Jan. 7 - 10

The Lindsay Road Interchange construction project along Loop 202 will require a full closure of eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) between McQueen and Gilbert roads in the Gilbert/Chandler area from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, to 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10. 

The following ramps will also be closed:

• The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Alma School Road, SR 87/Arizona Avenue, McQueen and Cooper roads 
• Detour: Motorists on eastbound Loop 202 may consider exiting ahead of the closure and using Chandler Boulevard to Gilbert Road to access Loop 202.

ADOT urges drivers to plan ahead for detours and travel delays; slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.
