State Route 587 lane restrictions planned between Interstate 10 and Hunt Highway beginning Friday night, Oct. 15

Drivers should plan ahead for weekend travel delays on State Route 587 between I-10 and Hunt Highway south of Chandler starting late Friday night, Oct. 15. The Arizona Department of Transportation has scheduled pavement maintenance in the area.

Flagging crews will direct SR 587 traffic through the work zone, one direction at a time, while the improvement work is taking place from 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17.

ADOT reminds drivers to slow down, prepare for intermittent delays and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
