The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who travel Interstate 17 to plan for overnight north- and southbound lane restrictions between State Route 69 and Sunset Point Rest Area.
The following restrictions will occur overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.:

Monday, Sept. 13, to Tuesday, Sept. 14 :
- Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between Badger Springs Road (exit 255) and Bloody Basin Road (exit 260).
- Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between State Route 69 (exit 262) and Badger Springs Road (exit 257).

Tuesday, Sept. 14, to Thursday, Sept. 16:
- Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between Sunset Point Rest Area (exit 251) and Badger Springs Road (exit 255).
- Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between Bloody Basin Road (exit 258) and Sunset Point Rest Area (exit 254).

Thursday, Sept. 16, to Friday, Sept. 17:
- North- and southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between mileposts 251 -254 at the Sunset Point Rest Area.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
The restrictions are needed for maintenance crews to apply a fog-seal treatment to the roadway, which protects and extends the life of the pavement.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while pavement repairs are underway.
