UPDATE: US 60 (Superstition Freeway) lane closures planned beginning August 5

This advisory updates the dates for the scheduled lane closures on US 60 in Tempe/Mesa.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the following weeknight travel delays on US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Tempe/Mesa while alternating lane closures are in place for pavement maintenance. 

The following restrictions will be in place from 9 p.m. each night until 4 a.m. the next morning:

  • Eastbound US 60 between Loop 101 and Country Club Drive will be narrowed to one or two lanes Thursday, August 5, and Thursday, August 12.
  • Westbound US 60 between Country Club Drive and Loop 101 will be narrowed to one or two lanes Thursday, August 19, and Thursday, August 26.
  • Westbound US 60 between Loop 101 and Hardy Drive will be narrowed to one or two lanes Thursday, September 2, and Thursday, September 16.
  • Eastbound US 60 between Hardy Drive and Loop 101 will be narrowed to one or two lanes Thursday, September 16, and Thursday, September 23.
