Northbound Interstate19 on-ramp at Chavez Siding Road closed April 5-6

Motorists who use northbound Interstate 19 near the border patrol checkpoint should plan for an I-19 on-ramp closure at Chavez Siding Road in Tubac for construction work.

The on-ramp will be closed all day Monday, April 5, and Tuesday, April 6. It will reopen to traffic by 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 6. Motorists can use Barrio De Tubac as a detour.

Drivers should proceed with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
