ADOT's Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix Area)

Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information about these weekend closures or restrictions along Phoenix-area freeways as part of improvement projects (March 5-8):

• Westbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between Seventh Street and 27th Avenue (north Phoenix) from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (March 8) for widening project. Northbound SR 51 ramp to westbound Loop 101 also closed.
• Southbound Loop 101 (Agua Freeway Freeway) narrowed to one lane overnight in areas between Thunderbird Road and Interstate 10 (West Valley) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday nights (March 7-10) for pavement maintenance (crack sealing). Expect southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramp closures at times in work areas. Allow extra travel times.
• Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed briefly at times overnight in areas between I-10 and Kyrene Road (Chandler area) from 7 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday (March 7) for Salt River Project overhead utility line work. All I-10 ramps to eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed. Consider using Chandler Boulevard.
