Overnight traffic restrictions on State Route 95 south of Lake Havasu City continue through Friday morning

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on State Route 95 south of Lake Havasu City that intermittent lane closures and brief travel delays are scheduled to continue this week for pavement maintenance.

  • Work will occur overnights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., through the morning of Friday, Jan. 22.
  • SR 95 is narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel near the Cattail Cove State Park and the Bill Williams River Bridge (mileposts 162 to 168).

The speed limit is reduced in the work zone. Motorists should be prepared to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.

The restrictions are necessary so crews can apply a sealant on the existing asphalt, which helps protect and extend the life of the roadway.
