Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) restricted between Price and Kyrene roads on Saturday (Jan. 9)

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers in the Chandler area to plan ahead for the following restrictions on Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) between Price and Kyrene roads for pavement striping.

Westbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane between Price and Kyrene roads from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. The following ramp will also be closed:

Westbound Loop 202 HOV ramp to northbound Loop 101

Drivers should anticipate travel delays in the area and consider using alternate freeway routes, including US 60 Superstition and Loop 202 Red Mountain freeways.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is under way.
