Restrictions scheduled on State Route 95 in Parker Dec. 9- Feb. 9

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on State Route 95 in Parker beginning Wednesday, Dec. 9.

Contractors are scheduled to continue work on a multi-phase project to upgrade sidewalks, curb ramps and driveways to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. 

The following daytime restrictions will occur between California Avenue and Riverside Drive to 17th Street from Wednesday, Dec. 9, until Tuesday, Feb. 9.

  • Northbound SR 95 will be reduced to one lane between California Avenue and 17th Street from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Sidewalk and street parking between California Avenue and Riverside Drive to 17th street will be closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

  • Right lane closures on northbound SR 95 will be required when heavy equipment is present. 

  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph. 

  • An 18-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
