REMINDER: Major traffic switch for eastbound I-10 near Ruthrauff Road scheduled Nov. 13

Expect overnight lane closures on westbound I-10 Nov. 15-16

Motorists who use eastbound Interstate 10 near Ruthrauff Road in Tucson should expect lane closures for a major traffic switch overnight, Friday, Nov. 13. By the morning of Saturday, Nov. 14, eastbound I-10 traffic will use the new pavement on the west side of the I-10/Ruthrauff Road interchange.

Westbound I-10 will not be affected during this traffic shift. The westbound lanes are tentatively scheduled to shift the night of Friday, Nov. 20.

In addition, motorists should expect overnight lane closures on westbound I-10 near Ruthrauff Road Sunday, Nov, 15, and Monday, Nov. 16, while crews complete work near the new railroad bridge. 

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
