The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on State Route 95 near Parker beginning Monday, Sept. 21. Maintenance crews are scheduled to build up the shoulder of the roadway.
To protect the safety of the workers adjacent to the road, alternating lane closures will occur on SR 95 in both directions between milepost 110 (near Quartzsite) and Bill Williams Memorial Bridge (milepost 161.73)
The restrictions will occur Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 21, and ending Friday, Nov. 20.
- Motorists should anticipate a 2-mile lane restriction while crews progress through the work zone.
- Flaggers will direct motorists through the area.
- A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
Motorists should allow extra travel time and plan for possible delays while work is underway.
