UPDATE: SR 347 closed Saturday west of Interstate 10; eastbound I-10 on-ramp closed

Readers: This advisory updates the scheduled restrictions at SR 347 and I-10.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the closure of State Route 347 between Maricopa Road and I-10 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, for pavement maintenance. The following restrictions and closures will also be in place:

  • Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at SR 347/Queen Creek Road will be closed. 
  • I-10 east-and westbound off-ramps at SR 347 limited to eastbound turns onto Queen Creek Road. 

Drivers should plan on using alternate routes including Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Maricopa Road or the I-10 interchange at Riggs Road.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
