Interstate 17 is scheduled to be narrowed at times near Carefree Highway in north Phoenix during the week of Aug. 3-7 for Arizona Department of Transportation maintenance work.
- Northbound I-17 narrowed to one lane near Carefree Highway from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, for pavement repairs. Northbound I-17 on-ramp at Dove Valley Road closed.
- I-17 narrowed to one or two lanes at times in either direction overnight near Pioneer Road from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, for a scheduled bridge inspection.
Drivers should allow extra travel time and use caution when approaching and traveling through the work zones. Always stay alert for highway crews and equipment.
