The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the following restrictions on north- and southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in areas between Warner Road and Rio Salado Parkway for pavement improvements and lane striping:
- Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Baseline Road and Rio Salado Parkway from 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 24.
- Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to three lanes between Baseline Road and Rio Salado Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday, July 24, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 27.
- The following northbound Loop 101 ramps will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, July 24, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 27:
- Southern Avenue on-ramp
- Broadway Road on- and off-ramps
- University Drive off-ramp
- The west- and eastbound US 60 ramp to northbound Loop 101, and westbound US 60 on-ramp at Alma School Road, will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, July 24, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 27.
- Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between US 60 and Warner Road from 9 p.m. Friday, July 24, to 5 a.m. Saturday, July 25.
Drivers should use Dobson Road, Price Road or McClintock Avenue as alternate routes during the closures.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while repairs are underway.
