Plan for overnight lane restrictions on State Route 83 at Interstate 10 July 16-18

Motorists on State Route 83 at Interstate 10 near Vail should expect overnight lane restrictions beginning Thursday, July 16, while crews mill and pave the road surface near the new bridge deck.

SR 83 will remain open, but traffic will be controlled by flaggers between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Crews will also complete similar paving work at Colossal Cave and Wentworth roads where crews are currently replacing the bridge deck.

Colossal Cave/Wentworth Road over I-10 is closed, and traffic restrictions near the interchange are expected to continue until the bridge reopens in late July.
