Lane closures on State Route 86 west of Sells to begin the week of June 1

Motorists along State Route 86 west of Sells on the Tohono O'odham Nation should expect daily lane closures and delays of approximately 15 minutes starting the week of June 1 for a safety project.

Lane restrictions are scheduled Mondays through Thursdays during the daylight hours while crews replace guardrail between mileposts 88 and 91. Some Friday work may be necessary.

The project is scheduled to extend into early fall.

Motorists should allow extra travel time and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
