ADOT's Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix Area)

Weekend Travel Advisory

Several freeway improvement projects will require closures at times this weekend (May 1-4). For more information click the Weekend Travel Advisory map. Please allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes while closures are in place, including the following:

  • Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Ray Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (May 4) for widening project. Both US 60 ramps to southbound Loop 101 closed. See additional information on the Weekend Travel Advisory map.
  • Eastbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between Scottsdale and Hayden roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday (May 2) for widening project. Westbound Loop 101 then closed between Pima and Scottsdale roads from 2 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday (May 4). Please note: Timing of the switch of closures subject to change.
  • There are separate closures of southbound and northbound I-17 this weekend in the area near Central Avenue (north of the "Split" near Sky Harbor Airport) for bridge project.
