The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use Interstate 10 (Papago Freeway) in the West Valley to consider using alternate routes beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, through noon on Saturday, April 11. I-10 is scheduled to close at Fairway Drive, between Dysart Road and Avondale Boulevard, for bridge work.
Work is scheduled to occur as listed below:

Eastbound I-10 will be closed with traffic detouring up and over the new Fairway Drive off- and on- ramps beginning at 8 p.m., Thursday, April 9, through 5 a.m. Friday, April 10.
- The eastbound on-ramps at Dysart and Litchfield roads also will be closed.

Westbound I-10 will be closed with traffic detouring up and over the new Fairway Drive off- and on- ramps beginning at 9 p.m., Friday, April 10, through (noon) Saturday, April 11.
- The westbound on-ramps at Avondale Boulevard and 107th Avenue also will be closed.
Other nearby ramps may also be closed intermittently as needed. Alternate routes include McDowell Road or Van Buren Street.
*The schedule may be adjusted as work progresses.
Drivers should use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work continues on the future interchange at I-10 and Fairway Drive. For more information, please visit the project website.
