Drivers in Scottsdale should plan for two long-term ramps closures on the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) in conjunction with the ongoing improvement project.
- Beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday, April 5, the eastbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Hayden Road and the eastbound Pima Freeway off-ramp at Pima Road/PrincessDrive will close around-the-clock through June. Eastbound detour: Drivers can exit the eastbound Pima Freeway at Hayden Road and travel south to connect with eastbound Princess Drive. Drivers wanting to access the eastbound Pima Freeway can also use southbound Hayden Road to eastbound Princess Drive.
- Beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday, April 12,the westbound Pima Freeway off-ramp at Hayden Road and westbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive will close around-the-clock through June. Westbound detour: Drivers can exit the westbound Pima Freeway at Pima Road/Princess Drive and travel west on Princess Drive to connect with Hayden Road. Drivers who want to access the westbound Pima Freeway can use westbound Pima Road/Princess Drive to northbound Hayden Road.
Crews are scheduled to widen bridges and reconstruct the ramps between Hayden and Pima roads to accommodate the new lanes being added to the Pima Freeway.
