Drivers who use the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) between Interstate 17 in Phoenix and Pima Road in Scottsdale need to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the following restrictions are in place:
Scottsdale Road at the Pima Freeway
- North- and southbound Scottsdale Road will be closed at the Pima Freeway from 10 p.m. Friday, March 20, until 5 a.m. on Monday March 23, and again nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. beginning Monday, March 23, through the morning of Friday, March 27.

Northbound detour: Enter the eastbound Pima Freeway at Scottsdale Road, exit at Hayden Road, then return on westbound Pima Freeway and exit at Scottsdale Road.

Southbound detour: Enter the westbound Pima Freeway at Scottsdale Road, exit at 64th Street, then return on the eastbound Pima Freeway and exit at Scottsdale Road.
Pima Freeway frontage road at 19th Avenue
- The eastbound Pima Freeway frontage road (Beardsley Road) will be restricted to one lane between 21st and 15th avenues weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, April 10.
Pima Freeway frontage Road at 13th Avenue
- The eastbound Pima Freeway frontage road (Beardsley Road) will have a flagging operation in place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, March 27. Slow down and use caution around construction personnel in the work zone.
Pima Freeway Frontage Road at Seventh Avenue
- The eastbound Pima Freeway frontage road (Beardsley Road) will be restricted to one lane at Seventh Avenue weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, March 27.
Pima Freeway Frontage Road at 16th Street
- The westbound Pima Freeway frontage road (Beardsley Road) will be restricted to one lane at 16th Street weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning Tuesday, March 24, through Friday, April 10.
Cave Creek Road at the Pima Freeway
- The westbound Pima Freeway on-ramp and the eastbound off-ramp at Cave Creek Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, March 23, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 24.

Westbound detour: Use westbound Beardsley Road to enter Loop 101 at Seventh Street.

Eastbound detour: Exit Loop 101 at Seventh Street and use the eastbound frontage road to Cave Creek Road.
32nd Street at the Pima Freeway
- North- and southbound 32nd Street will be closed at the Pima Freeway nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, March 25, through the morning of Friday, March 27.

Northbound detour: Use westbound Beardsley Road to cross the freeway at Cave Creek Road.

Southbound detour: Use westbound Rose Garden Lane to cross the freeway at Cave Creek Road.
Tatum Boulevard at the Pima Freeway
- The westbound Pima Freeway on- and off-ramps at Tatum Boulevard will be restricted with officer-assisted traffic control to set barrier from 9 p.m. on Monday, March 23, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 24.
ONGOING RESTRICTIONS AND CLOSURES:
19th Avenue at the Pima Freeway
- The eastbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at 19th Avenue is narrowed to one lane through completion of bridge-widening work at 19th Avenue.
15th Avenue at the Pima Freeway
- The 15th Avenue bridge over the Pima Freeway is closed to north- and southbound traffic through late 2020 for reconstruction and other improvements.
Pima Freeway Frontage Road at 15th Avenue
- The east- and westbound Pima Freeway frontage roads (Beardsley Road) at 15th Avenue are narrowed to one lane.
16th Street at the Pima Freeway
- Northbound 16th Street is narrowed to one lane at the Pima Freeway, and the southbound shoulder is closed through construction of the bridge at 16th Street.
Cave Creek Road at the Pima Freeway
- North- and southbound Cave Creek Road is restricted to two lanes at the Pima Freeway, and the right turn lane at the westbound off-ramp at Cave Creek Road is closed, through spring 2020.
Pima Freeway Frontage Road at Cave Creek Road
- The westbound Pima Freeway frontage road (Beardsley Road) west of Cave Creek Road is narrowed to one lane through construction of interchange improvements.
Pima Freeway at 56th and 64th streets
- The eastbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at 56th Street and the eastbound off-ramp at 64th Street are closed until March 27.

Detour: Use Mayo Boulevard to enter eastbound Loop 101 at 64th Street. Use the eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 56th Street and eastbound Mayo Boulevard to access 64th Street.
