Interstate 10 ramp closures at Dysart Road scheduled late Friday and Saturday morning

Plan ahead and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use I-10 (Papago Freeway) in the West Valley to plan for the following ramp and lane restrictions this weekend as construction of the new traffic interchange at Fairway Drive continues:

  • The eastbound I-10 on-ramp and westbound off-ramp at Dysart Road will be closed from 10 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14, through 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 15.
  • Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes overnight between Avondale Boulevard  and Dysart Road from 10 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14, through 7 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 15.

DETOUR: Drivers can consider exiting westbound I-10 at either Avondale Boulevard or Litchfield Road. Drivers who normally would enter eastbound I-10 at Dysart Road can consider using McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to travel to the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Avondale Boulevard.

Drivers should use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the interchange at I-10 and Fairway Drive is constructed. For more information, please visit the project website.
