Pavement project on eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Mesa begins Sunday, Jan. 19; expect delays and consider alternate routes

If you would like alerts on this and other ADOT news, sign up above to receive our GovDelivery notices.The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use the eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Mesa to plan for nightly lane restrictions scheduled to begin Sunday, Jan. 19, for a pavement preservation project.
Work is scheduled to occur between Loop 101 (Price Freeway) and Crismon Road as follows:
- The eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to two lanes nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning late Sunday, Jan. 19, and continue through early Friday, Jan. 24.
Construction crews will complete the work in 3-mile increments to help minimize traffic delays. Please plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
Drivers should use caution around construction personnel and equipment while pavement work is underway.
