Lane restrictions scheduled on Interstate 10 in San Simon beginning Nov. 18

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises commercial vehicles to plan ahead for lane restrictions on Interstate 10 near the San Simon Port of Entry beginning Monday, Nov. 18.

Contractors are scheduled to install electronic components and software. The work is part of a statewide truck screening improvement project.

The following restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, Nov. 18, and ending Wednesday, Nov. 27.

I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions between mileposts 383 and 385.
A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
