Lane restrictions scheduled on Interstate 40 in Sanders through Nov. 17

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises commercial vehicles to plan ahead for lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near the Sanders Port of Entry through Friday, Nov. 17.

Contractors are scheduled to install weigh-in-motion sensors. The work is part of a statewide truck screening improvement project.

The following restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday Nov. 17.

Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane between mileposts 341 and 342.
A 14-foot vehicle-width restriction will be in place.
