Kids needing medical treatment and their families have a little something to smile about today: a new kid-sized Tesla and U-Haul trailer!
Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division Director Eric Jorgensen recently won these unique pint-size vehicles in a no-cost raffle at a regional meeting of motor vehicle administrators.
Director Jorgensen wanted to donate the vehicles to a worthy cause. As a supporter of the work done by the people at Phoenix Children's Hospital, Eric believed children who need medical treatment and their families would benefit from a donation like this.
On Friday, November 1, Director Jorgensen was joined by PCH Foundation representative Christianna Millan and U-Haul V.P. of Government Relations Joe Cook as the Telsa and U-Haul were officially given to the PCH Foundation.
U-Haul had originally donated the vehicles to be raffled, and the estimated value is $1,000.
