TRAVEL ALERT: Plan for Interstate 40 daytime lane closures in Flagstaff next week for pavement preservation work

Northern Arizona drivers who use eastbound Interstate 40 in Flagstaff should plan for lane closures and travel delays while Arizona Department of Transportation crews complete pavement repair work at the junction with Interstate 17 (mileposts 195-197).

Eastbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane at I-17 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 3. ADOT advises motorists to use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
