Drivers who travel Interstate 17 in Phoenix west of Sky Harbor International Airport should plan for upcoming off-ramp closures in both directions at Seventh Avenue. The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays and allow extra travel time while the following restrictions are in place:

The northbound I-17 off-ramp at Seventh Avenue will be closed and Seventh Avenue will be restricted to one lane in both directions between the freeway and Mohave Street from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24.

The southbound I-17 off-ramp at Seventh Avenue will be closed and Seventh Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction between the freeway and Gibson Lane from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Drivers can use Seventh Street or 19th Avenue as alternate routes.

Pedestrian access and access to nearby businesses will be maintained during the closures.

The frontage roads will remain open during the closures.
