Traffic Shift between Scottsdale and Hayden roads

The travel lanes on the Pima Freeway between Scottsdale and Hayden roads will be shifted around a new work zone that is being established in the freeway median (see illustration below).

The eastbound travel lanes will be shifted around the work zone between Scottsdale and Hayden roads by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26. The traffic shift for the westbound travel lanes is currently in place.

The traffic shift is needed to construct a new bridge that will travel over the city of Scottsdale’s future Miller Road extension.  The traffic shift will be in place for approximately one year while the new bridge is being built.  ADOT will maintain the same number of travel lanes during the traffic shift.
